Tried simply selecting a single sub-folder. "Nicer" concept than having to set up multiple server side filters.(they're all different and fiddly)ġ) Turned off "include in default mail check" for one account.but it still checked that account in the default cycle (really annoying - only way around it.remove that account altogether)Ģ) Only downloaded 2 emails from an IMAP server with thousands in its folders. If it’s a sneaky ad that intrigues your curiosity, you can read as much of it as you choose, then simply hit “Spam” or “Blacklist” & you will never see another one from that sender again. If it’s anything you don’t want, or from someone you don’t want to hear from, just hit “Bounce” & it is immediately returned to sender. If you should receive an email from a name you don’t recognize or one that arouses your curiosity, you can read the entire email without sending it to your inbox & opening it. (It’s actually very easy & has an intuitive demo video) He & his crew are very much on top of everything, immediately answering any questions or fixing any problem that might arise while you’re learning how to use MailWasher. I never have to deal with SPAM or anything I don’t want to bother with, saving me much time & frustration. I’ve had MailWasher for nearly 15 years, since first starting to use a computer, & it’s one I couldn’t live without. MailWasher is one program I rely on many times a day for my computer & plan to try the new one for cellphones soon. Only suggestion I would want is to be able to have a NOT condition as I still can't figure out how to filter all but the main TLDs (see RegEx Save | Cancel Love that I can use RegEx in the filters. Other than that, Mailwasher Pro has been indispensable for managing my e-mails and making sure my family is safe. My only issues are recently I've been having my e-mails show as "read" through IMAP and I don't know if it's Mailwasher or some other software (Outlook/Gmail POP3) and sometimes when Mailwasher downloads the rest of the e-mail in the preview window, it suddenly shows the contents of a totally different e-mail and I have to clear all the e-mails and have it Check Mail all over again which is slow on 30+ actual accounts and 1000's of e-mails to download. I can easily block all e-mail to that account after the fact to stop all spam from that account I know who to blame when i start getting spam to that e-mail addressģ). I've been using Mailwasher since 2003 (mailwasher2b28.exe) and recently purchased a lifetime license because I rely on it so much.
